A catastrophic blast at a security post in Indian-administered Kashmir has caused the deaths of nine individuals and harm to thirty-two additional people, according to police declarations.

The explosion took place on Friday evening at the Nowgam law enforcement facility, where blast substances taken from Faridabad in the northern state of Haryana province were being kept briefly.
Area law enforcement head stated that the blast materials were pending technical investigation when a "deeply regrettable" accident during management caused their blast at approximately 23:20 in the evening.

Numerous cars were "covered in blaze and transformed into ashen remains, with debris scattered across the location," according to police accounts.
"The force of the detonation was such that some body parts were recovered from nearby houses, approximately 100-200 metres away the security post," reported an official source.
The majority of the victims were security officials, along with technical investigation team, two crime scene photographers, and a clothing professional who was present with the personnel.
