BF6 Battle Royale Arrives Very Soon as a Free-to-Play Offering

After months of rumors, the BR game type for BF6 is finally releasing. Last week's speculation suggesting its release would align with the new season were accurate. Fans can dive into the mode starting very soon.

The New Season Bringing a New Map, Mode, and Guns

In tandem with the BR release, Season 1 is also beginning. It adds a new map, a fresh game type, and fresh guns. Additionally, the Redacted Sector is arriving. An embedded trailer will become available at go-live, offering players a taste of what's to come.

Free-to-Play Structure Allows Redsec Open to All

Perhaps the most significant detail is that Battlefield Redsec will be F2P. Similar to other titles, you won't require to purchase the main title to participate. A number of gamers have earlier tried early versions of the mode. These trials were run in Battlefield Labs, which the developers described as their largest community collaboration project.

The heart-pounding excitement during encounters with another squad is unmatched in different BR game. It's like a true survival situation, and you actually care if you die or survive.
Although I was a snob beforehand, I'm completely supportive of the new mode now that I've experienced it.

These initial impressions from players have been overwhelmingly favorable. Of course, the mode may have evolved over the past month or two in terms of game balance and tempo. But, early signs are strong that this new mode could become a real rival to popular games. Many are expecting that the best guns from the base title will be available in the battle royale.
